Client: Waveney and Great Yarmouth Borough Councils

The commission involved an extensive field survey, a large- scale employers’ postal survey and a review of the trends and structure of the local economy. Results showed that a significant area of employment land was deemed to be surplus to requirement.

The employment survey identified a higher than expected increase in labour requirements. Findings and recommendations were prepared for each administrative area and for the sub-region. Also recommendations were prepared for LDF core strategies.
