North London City Growth was a £1.4m ERDF programme to assist the development of business clusters, deliver business support and generally promote north London as a business location. The project involved assessing the performance of the programme against objectives, the outcomes for business participants and overall economic impact. The work was undertaken in compliance with the BERR IEF and LDA guidance on economic impact, it involved significant survey work as well as detailed statistical analysis. The extent of strategic added value was investigated along with lessons learned.
