Bone Wells Urbecon was retained to assess the financial impact of the existing evening economy, and to develop a strategy to produce a safe, inclusive night time environment for both visitors and residents. A postal survey, focus group meetings and interviews with key stakeholders were held to obtain a broad understanding of the area’s strengths and weaknesses. Recommendations included proposals for the diversification of different categories of evening economy to preferred areas of the town centre.
