BWU measured he preformance of the City ICT community project in tackling social exclusion in the City and City Fringes by increasing digital skills amongst disadvantaged groups (unemployed residents, BAME communities, ex-rough sleepers, residents leaving in social estates). Best practice and lessons learned will be used to roll-out the project in other Local Authorities across the UK. A set of surveys (baseline, progress and exit surveys) were designed for each activity and tailored to the specific support received by residents. The economic case for the project was assessed based on the HM Treasury Green Book for Evaluation.
